Do you feel people in movies just don’t have anything interesting to say anymore? Does all the witty banter wear you out sometimes? Do you like live music? Then the Hamilton Film Festival is perfect. The Festival has been showing five classic silent films at St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Westdale. An original live score is also played on the piano by composer Robert Bruce. Even though it started on November 2, two of the five classic silent films presented are still coming up. Harold Lloyd’s Safety Last (1923) is playing Thursday, November 13 and F.W. Murnau’s Faust (1926) is playing Sunday, November 16, both at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $15 regular and $10 Senior/Student and can be bought at Bryan Prince Bookseller in Westdale or by calling 905.777.9196. A limited number are also available at the door. V
