Donnie Kehr is an American singer-songwriter, musician and producer. He founded the band Urgent on EMI-Manhattan Records and their album‘ Cast the First Stone’ sold over 450,000 copies to reach Billboard’s top 100. Donnie’s voice is featured on two Grammy Award winning albums: The Who's 'Tommy', produced by Pete Townshend & Sir George Martin, and Jersey Boys produced by Bob Gaudio.
As an actor, Donnie originated roles in Jersey Boys, Billy Elliot, The Who’s Tommy, and many others. His film credits include Jersey Boys directed by Clint Eastwood; Oliver Stone’s Wall Street; Chaplin with Robert Downey Jr and others. He has been seen on TV in House of Cards, Gotham, Quantico, Tales of The City, Z-The Beginning of Everything and Inventing Anna. He has performed on the Tonight Show, David Letterman, Good Morning America, and the Oscars.
Donnie’s other credits include Directing and Producing and his non-profit,The PATH Fund raises funding for arts education. His credits include the annual "Rockers on Broadway" Benefit Concert Series, now in its 30thyear, The 15th Anniversary Reunion Concert of The Who's Tommy, and the opening ceremonies for the 2009 Maccabi Games at Madison Square Garden. In 2013 he received a Best Director of a musical nomination atThe Midtown International Theatre Festival. Additionally, he is proud to be the Creator and Executive Producer of The Greatest Piano Men.
