Rising country music singer/songwriter ERNEST will make his debut at the 2022 Great New York State Fair with a 6 p.m. show Sunday, September 4 on the Chevy Court stage. ERNEST released his full-length debut album earlier this year Flower Shops: The Album, which The Tennessean just named one of “The Best Albums of 2022 So Far.”

State Fair interim Director Sean Hennessey said, “We love to see new artists make their debuts at the Fair. ERNEST has written songs for stars such as Kane Brown, Chris Lane and Sam Hunt and now he’s on tour performing his own compositions. He’s a talent to watch and I know this will be a terrific night of music.”

All concerts in the Chevrolet Music Series are free with Fair admission. Concerts at the Fair are sponsored by Chevrolet.

Founded in 1841, the Great New York State Fair showcases the best of New York agriculture, provides top-quality entertainment and is a key piece of the state’s CNY Rising strategy of growing the Central New York economy through tourism. The 2022 Fair begins Wednesday, August 24, and continues through Monday, September 5.
